8/12 TAKES - JON GRUDEN (APPROX. TIME)

Taysom Hill will probably receive an opportunity with Sean Payton in Denver, although Payton’s crowded collection of favored quarterbacks could limit the available repetitions.

The Vikings will probably have to trade J.J. McCarthy because losing the starting job to Kyler Murray leaves no credible path for Minnesota to restore his confidence as its quarterback of the future.

The Bears will be the best team in the NFC North and Caleb Williams will make another significant leap. But Chicago's ability to generate a fourth-quarter pass rush will determine whether they can beat a team such as the Rams in January.

The Podbudsment
So much quality "football is back" discussion with Gruden, but the Producer crew really shone in these two pods...

Producer emeritus Hank keeping the candle lit for LIV Golf is soul-nourishing stuff.

Memes did an homage to "She's All That" by looking like a stud without a hat and glasses on ... maybe he found love at the Internet Invitational? Regardless, his heart will be pumping after hearing Gruden's take on Aaron Glenn turning the Jets around and the Giants being an imposter.

Max getting triggered by the final Eagles play of last season is a great harbinger of things to come. Violently gesticulating his microphone as a phallus in front of a Super Bowl-winning coach is just kind of expected Bobo Dolente behavior now. And with things looking rough for the Eagles offense, this season could be the one that gets Max institutionalized. Hopefully the doctors let him keep his harmonica.
GREAT Schwarber call.
